“The Batman” shoot suspended after Robert Pattinson was diagnosed with Covid-19

Warner Bros. confirmed that filming had stopped again a few days after it was resumed in the UK, this time because the result of Pattinson’s test for coronavirus was positive.

The company said a person was placed in solitary confinement in accordance with established protocols without giving further details.

Filming for “The Batman” was underway in Glasgow earlier this year when the pandemic broke out.

Vanity Fair wrote that British actor Robert Pattinson, 34, contracted the coronavirus a few days after filming resumed near London after a six-month hiatus.

“The Batman”, directed by Matt Reeves, is scheduled to be released in October 2021.
