The “Away” series, starring Hilary Swank, will premiere on Netflix on September 4


The Netflix series “Away”, created by Andrew Hinderaker, a drama that celebrates the progress that people can make, as well as the personal sacrifices they have to make to go down this road, will be on view from September 4th.

As she prepares to lead an international crew on her first mission to Mars, American astronaut Emma Green (Hilary Swank) must reconcile her decision to leave behind her husband (Josh Charles) and teenage daughter (Talitha Bateman). when they both need it more. As the crew members’ space travel becomes more intense, the dynamics of their relationship and the effects of distance from their close ones on Earth become more complex.

The executive producers of the series are Jessica Goldberg, Matt Reeves, Jason Katims, Edward Zwick, Hilary Swank, Adam Kassan, Andrew Hinderaker, Jeni Mulein, and Michelle Lee.

Emma Green (Hilary Swank) is an American astronaut and former Navy pilot. She is the commander of the first mission to Mars.

Matt Logan (Josh Charles) is a NASA engineer. He faces the already enormous challenges of coping with the mission at home while trying to raise his teenage daughter on his own.

Alexis “Lex” Logan (Talitha Bateman), 15, is the daughter of astronauts Emma Green and Matt Logan. Like her father, Lex supports her and is proud of her mother’s three-year mission. She struggles with the dilemmas of adolescence.

The cast also includes Mark Ivanir, Ato Essandoh, Ray Panthaki, Vivian Wu, Monique Curnen.
