The group, which broke up in 2011, announced on Instagram that it will be part of the Coachella festival lineup, where it will perform on April 10 and 17.
The RATM also announced three concert dates – El Paso on March 26, Las Cruces on March 28, and Phoenix on March 30.
During the recent break, leader Zack from Rocha pursued a solo career. His most recent album dates back to 2016. The other three band members – guitarist Tom Morello, drummer Brad Wilk, and bassist Tim Commerford – formed, along with Chuck D from Public Enemy and B-Real from Cypress Hill, the Prophets of Rage group.
Morello was also part of Chris Cornell’s Audioslave project, the leader of the Soundgarden band.
Rage Against the Machine, known for its powerful social media, was founded in 1991 in Los Angeles. He has released four studio albums, certified platinum and has been rewarded with two Grammy Awards from seven nominations. The group operated between 1991 and 2000 and 2007 and 2011.
