New song and its video from “The Roop” takes you back to the past

Gaining their popularity “The Roop” introduces a video for “Dream On” which takes you back to the ’70s and ’80s. The video was shot using and old 8mm camera, and the film was developed and digitized in Germany.

“It was thrilling to adapt filming angles of ’70s and ’80s, and visual compositions combining pictures of band members and the sunny nature in spring” – told the director of the video and the band leader Vaidotas Valiukevičius.

In the video guys not only interact, dance, but also play games of the time: domino, Rubik’s cube and an electronic game where you must catch rolling eggs.

“The aim was creating reckless mood when life did not run in this intense tempo and everyone communicated live and more,” – smiles Vaidotas

The band members are four guys from Lithuania, a country sitting right at Europe’s geographical centre. Musical style: rock / pop rock / dance rock

Debut album “To Whom It May Concern” came out on November, 2015. An extra touch was added by Australian Leon Zervos – top mastering engineer from Studios 301 (Sydney) who has worked with INXS, Aerosmith, Muse, Coldplay and many other music’s biggest names.

Latest single “Dream On” is from forthcoming second studio album, which will come out on September.
