Only two months will separate us from the biggest music festival of the 1980s and 1990s, which will take place between 31 May and 2 June at the “Dan Paltinisanu” Stadium in Timişoara. Beside Sabrina, Modern Talking, Ace of Base , CC Catch, Sandra, Boney M, Ricchi e Poveri, Mr. President, No Mercy, Captain Jack, Dr. Alban, Haddaway, SNAP !, East 17, Alphaville, Alexia, Nana or C-Block, on the list of artists ready to amaze Romanians. Thus, on the Diskoteka Festival stage will also go: La Bouche, Maxx, Baccara, Lian Ross and Herb McCoy (Bad Boys Blue).
La Bouche, who dazzled the music charts with Be my Lover, “Sweet dreams (Ola Ola E)” or “Tonight is the Night” – are ready to make the Romanians vibrate on the rhythms of ’80 -’90. The same is true of MAXX, which currently means Linda Meek, and is ready to remind DISKOTEKA’s audience of “Get-A-Way”, “No More I Can not Stand It”, “You Can Get It” or “Move Your Body”.
At Discoteka Festival over 45,000 spectators are waiting, and the big surprise is that not only in Romania. In March, half of the available subscriptions, more than 24,000, have been exhausted, especially a 50% reduction, currently available, but only for a short period.
The concept of the festival has been expected for years in Romania, after successive successes in countries such as Poland, Russia or Solovacia. At the “Dan Păltinişanu” Stadium started the construction of the 5 scenes of the festival. Scene modules arrived in the country earlier this week. There are also other areas available for the festival, where interactive actions, flash mobs, retrospectives and retro commercial areas will take place to offer an unforgettable and unparalleled experience to the audience at the festival. The Subscriptions, half sold-out.
