Rap singer Cardi B, whom I also saw in the movie “Hustlers” with Jennifer Lopez, divorces Offset, a member of the group Migos, after three years of marriage.
Cardi B is the one who filed for divorce, in which she considers their marriage “irreparably destroyed”. The two secretly married in 2017 and have a two-year-old daughter. According to the documents, she is requesting primary custody of the child and wants Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, to contribute to “support and care”. The real reasons behind the separation are actually the rapper’s infidelities.
She also demands that Offset, aged 28, pay alimony, although at this time it is not known what the amount would be. The legal documents also state that the artist demands that Offset pay the court costs, and she claims that “there is no way of reconciliation” and that she and her husband have been separated for a long time. Cardi B also calls for a fair distribution of marital property, which could indicate that the two did not have a prenuptial agreement.
Cardi B also demands that the goods be divided equally. Cardi B, 27, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, opened the procedure on Tuesday in the home state of her husband, Georgia, where the family lives. The couple is currently separated, but live together, and “there are no prospects for reconciliation.”
In July 2018, Cardi B and Offset became the parents of a little girl, whom they named Kulture Kiari Cephus, the singer revealing that the girl’s last name is that of her husband. Offset’s real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, while Cardi’s is Belcalis Almanzar. For Cardi B this is the first child, while Offset has three more children – two boys and a daughter – from previous relationships.
